...And To All A Good Night

Hello Darlings,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that your stockings were filled with everything your heart wished for. Right now, I'm eating leftovers and staring out the window at the blustering blizzard that New York is experiencing. A lot of friends are annoyed at the snow storm because it delayed many of their plans, but I don't mind. I was supposed to go shopping today with my mom to return some misfitted items and catch some after-Christmas sales but instead stayed home, tried on clothes, watched Toy Story 3, made plans for New Years Eve, cleaned up a little bit, snuggled and napped, and now I'm blogging! Next is some hot chocolate :)

The view from my living room window - we're snowed in!

The past couple of days have been wonderful. The night before Christmas Eve, I went to a friends holiday potluck. I didn't know anybody except her which made it a bit awkward at first but by the end of the night, everyone came alive and I left having a lot of fun. For Christmas Eve, I went to my aunt's home in Riverdale and got to play with my little baby cousin, Owen. For Christmas Day, we went to the afternoon mass at church and then traveled to my mother's side of the family in Westchester at my uncle's house. It was an enchanted day filled with a delicious meal (got to love being Italian!) more cute babies to play with, seeing my cousin who flew in from Arizona, and taking silly pictures after unwrapping gifts. I have never seen my family let loose and act so silly like they did last night and cannot wait to use some of those pictures for blackmail (hehe.)

Messy after opening gifts by the tree
For Christmas Day I am wearing: Coat: (Via Spiga); Scarf: (Unlabeled); Sweater: (Michael Kors); Jeans: (Levis); Heels: (Rampage)

Christmas Day had a bit of chill in the air so I bundled up in a sweater and my long coat. I bought this coat on an awesome sale a couple of years ago,  originally $475 and I grabbed it for 75% off - yay Black Friday sales :)My mom questioned my sanity when I brought out the peep-toe pumps, but it wasn't cold enough that my feet were cold. Mother nature saved the snow for today.

What did you darlings get for Christmas? How did you spend the holidays?

Eternally yours,
Stephanie
