The Nature Preserve

After class yesterday, I made the trek up the steep hill at the back of our campus and entered our nature preserve. The nature preserve is a huge area of woods with many different paths that students and community members can stroll through on lazy days or get a workout by jogging through the beautiful scenery. Although it extends past our university, the only two entrances are on campus. I must admit, that it felt walking through a fairytale. Despite it being a cloudy day with hints of drizzle here and there, I braved the muddy path and walked about fifteen minutes through to the expansive lake where the colorful trees were reflected in it's glassy surface. I crossed the bridge and ate a snack I brought with me while I sat and absorbed the beautiful scene. It is something that I definitely recommend to anyone. Find a beautiful spot in nature, sit in silence and take in the view.

My head got cut off but I liked the way it came out

So naturally I edited my head out of this picture as well.

What a lovely set of pictures. Autumn is definitely my favourite season.

P.S. I want to have pictures taken, and take pictures of, that bridge!! Head or no head... ;)
