I try to keep my posts light hearted and fun; however I am going to make this a more serious one. In light of the recent tragedies regarding young males tragically ending their lives because of homophobic comments and bullying, my school set up a Facebook group inviting students to participate in a day where students wear purple to show their support of acceptance and peace. I decided to participate because I have a few close friends at school that are homosexual, and more importantly I believe in choosing to accept people for who they are. I do not mean to offend anyone for I am merely expressing my personal opinion.
I am wearing: Jeans: (Levis); Tank: (Terranova); Shirt: (Michael Kors); Sandals: (Mudd)
Eternally yours,
Stephanie

Great outfit for the day. I agree, it is horrible what happened to those poor boys...I don't understand why people have to be so hateful... *sigh*

I didn't know about wearing purple but did by chance. I was happy that I picked purple that day :)
This all makes me so sad. My dad helps run a charity against homophobic bullying here in the UK.
I love what you chose to wear x
I think it's terrible what happened to those young teens, but I think it's wonderful that you're showing your support!! The world needs more loving and accepting people :)
