Crystal Renn For French Vogue August 2010

Hello Lovelies,

Reading a fashion magazine is one of my favorite past times. It is a chance for me to be completely selfish, tune out my daily doings and slip into the world of that issue. It can be any magazine because I love reading the different articles, and picking up clothing tips for the seasons or any advice offered. Another thing that I can't help but love are the advertisements and the models in them...Those pages are really the ones that let me slip into dreamland and picture myself anywhere in the world by looking at that picture. Some of my all-time favorite models are the pretty noticeable and famous ones: I'm in love with Gisele Bundchen as well as Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Gemma Ward, Bar Rafaeli, and Agnes Denn, just to name a few.

One model that I am just beginning to notice is Crystal Renn, and "plus size" model. I first noticed her when a fellow blogger posted one of her editorials a couple of months back and now I notice her everywhere. She has become a favorite of mine for the obvious reasons that she is helping break down the ideal that thin and skinny is what is beautiful in the fashion world and showing that you can be gorgeous no matter what size or shape you are. Aside from all of the preaching, she is gorgeous! She takes beautiful pictures and is a wonderful model. Here are my favorite pictures from her editorial from the August 2010 edition of French Vogue.
