With all of the weather reports and whispers around campus yesterday, it was hard to ignore the hopes that our university classes would be cancelled. Well, our hopes were answered: they WERE!!
I had a paper that was due tomorrow that, unfortunately due to a dance performance, I had to hand in today to make sure that it was on time. With the snow and the canceled class, however, I don't have to hand it in until Monday, giving me extra time to make sure that it is polished and proofread. :) Also, my room has been getting really messy as I have had no time to clean it due to school work and tech week.
Which brings me to a not so good point about having a snow day. I am taking a theater practicum performing class and our show is this weekend. Our full dress rehearsal is tonight; however there is a chance that if the snow interferes, the moderators will be pushing the dress rehearsal to tomorrow morning at 6 am!!! Way too early in my mind as we then have to perform at 10 am. Guess who might be going to bed early tonight?
Well, I am off to clean my room and finish studying.

i just spent the day in NYC where a big snow storm passed through...how beautiful to see it floating through the sky!

Ahh I love snow days; I had one from school today. Perfect opportunity to catch up on everything. Though your dance rehearsal at 6 am-- OUCH!
While I am grateful for the great weather we have here in LA (it was in the 80s last week!), I do long for some colder temps. We breezed through winter and I only had to wear a coat a few times it was so warm.
