Gourmet Grilled Cheese

With the parents gone on a Bermuda cruise this whole week, dinner was left up to us kids. I really felt like I rose to the challenge with cooking at home and not ordering out. Though I lived four years on my own, one and a half when I had to make my own dinner and not eat in a dining hall, I became pretty creative. Fast forward a mere three months of living back home and the most creative dinner idea I came up with was a grilled cheese sandwhich with a twist: adding salsa to the sandwich. It was surprisingly delicious, so much so that I had two and swapped the American yellow cheese in the first sandwich to cream cheese in the second sandwich. Both were scrumptious though the grilled cream cheese sandwich was really messy.
