An Engaging Engagement Gift

So we finally have internet in our house! I'm super excited although I must say that not having internet or cable for the first week was in a way refreshing. We were forced to make our own fun and while I'm sure that we will still continue to have movie nights, play cards, and simply talk in a circle, it was a nice way to start our last year together. But now, I can finally get to take my time making posts and catching up on all of my favorite blogs!

For two of my housemates engagement party back at the end of July, I searched their registry and got them the super cute tea kettle that they requested. I had it mailed directly to them but still wanted to get them a  personalized gift that was creative. I feel like those small touches to any gift makes them extra meaningful.
I wanted to stay with a "tea" theme so I searched a few stores for some cute tea mugs and discovered these that I couldn't let go - I wound up going back and buying two for myself! My mom came up with the cute idea to mount them on a box of tea and she helped me wrap them up to have a cute finish. I also stuck a shot glasses in each of the tissue paper. One was was shaped like a bride and the other like a groom. I mean hey, we are still in college!
