Santa's List

Hello Loves,

With the holiday season quickly approaching, I feel extremely pressured to get all of my shopping done for my family. I have been swamped with final papers, dance performances, last minute advising meetings and packing up my room. I wish I could cuddle up with a hot cup of chocolate, watch every Christmas movie on ABC Family and Lifetime and do some online shopping (even though I'm actually not a fan of shopping online..desperation) however, work seems to always come first. I'm not letting that stop me from being in the Christmas spirit however! I'm dressing up warmly with red, green, and white accents and am playing Christmas music non-stop. Pressure and stress will always be in life no matter if your a student or have graduated; it just takes different forms. It is important, especially during this season, to keeping your spirits up and create your own happiness, no matter what is stressing you out.

After the pressures of school is done (only a few more days!!), I am going to go home and fully immerse myself in the Christmas spirit doing things that can only be done when this time of year rolls around. I plan on starting and finishing my Christmas shopping in a weekend, hanging out with high school friends that I haven't seen in too long of a time, walking Casey through the snowy neighborhood streets, catching up on all of my favorite holiday movies as a kid (The Santa Clause anyone??) and my all time holiday favorite: going into Manhattan to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree with Nicole and window gazing down 5th Avenue. What are some of your Christmas plans?

On My Christmas List This Year:
  • Travel Books and Guides
  • Cashmere Sweaters
  • Happiness For Family And Friends
  • Clothes That Can Be Mixed/Matched
  • Excellent Final Grades
  • Safe Travels Throughout The Holiday
  • Canon Rebel XSi
  • Having Someone Special To Spend The Holidays With
  • Toy Story 3

What on your Christmas wish list?
Eternally yours,
Stephanie

I so agree! It's important to not let all the holiday obligations get us down! Actually, I got everything on my wish list last year except for a pair of diamond studs :) Maybe Santa will bring me some sparkle this Christmas!

Gah! This is seriously one of the most enchanting Christmas posts I have read all season - love it! Sadly, I really don't have anything on my Christmas list right now. I suppose I will simply be surprised!! :P
