Fashion, Put It All On Me

Hello Everyone,

I realize that I have not had an outfit post in a very long time - I'm sorry!! I will have one coming up in the next few days. That being said, I also have not gone shopping in a long time and felt that I was overdue for some retail therapy.

Because I live on campus, it is very hard for me to access great stores; I can only go where the bus takes me which is to two very limited malls. People have recommended online shopping but I usually only turn to the internet for special occasions like buying a gift or if I can't find an item in the stores. For the most part, I stay away from online shopping because I know that I will get addicted to it but mostly because there is nothing like the feel of going into a store, trying things on right there, grasping a potential item, or making eye contact with that special clothing across the room.
I'm excited to share a few purchases that I am absolutely in love with and cannot wait to wear out:

Striped Tank with Full Zipper Down the Back

Originally$15, On Sale for $10
I've become a sucker for intricate detailing and this shirt was just what I was looking for. I actually wore this one already as part of my Halloween costume, but I have not worn it out since and still consider it a brand new purchase. I will probably pull my hair into an updo to show off the full zipper in the back.

Lace Blouse

Originally$50, On Sale for $20
This piece is my absolute favorite, especially because I got it as a steal. It exudes feminine charm, the details on the blouse are so intricate, and I have such a fetish for lace. I am excited to wear it as itself and let it be the statement maker of an outfit, wear it as a dress with leggings and some costume pearls, or glam it up a bit with black jeans and studded accessories: I'm dying to contrast its femininity with a rock and roll vibe.

Zippered Booties

Originally$50, On Sale for $25, Damaged Clearance for $20
As soon as I laid eyes on these booties I knew they had to be mine! I love their weathered and worn look even though they are completely new! They seem straight out of a vintage shop even though they are not. I was originally searching for casual flat boots to wear to class as the only boots I have now have a heel (I don't particularly care for wearing heels to class.) I didn't find a casual pair, but decided to add these to my closet despite the broken zipper on the right foot. I'm hoping my mom can fix them. If not, I'm going to add some DIY touches to them and still rock them out! These booties are not an item I would typically go for which is why I knew they were in my destiny. I'm trying to evolve my style and I know I will get use out of them. I can hear my mom now saying that they are impractical for use in the winter due to the open toe, but I plan on somehow working socks into the equation if I am going to class (despite the fact that I don't wear heels on campus) or rocking the cold-toe look if I wear them to go out.

P.S: Today's date is 11/11 - Make a wish! (I wish to wear some of these items over the weekend)

Eternally yours,
Stephanie
