It's Official!

Hello Lovelies,

I wanted to wait until everything was booked and confirmed to make this very special announcement: I will be studying abroad next semester in Florence, Italy!!!

I am super excited and cannot wait to begin this adventure. I can already picture myself strolling through the cobblestone streets and sipping espresso in a corner cafe. Knowing that I will be abroad next year has given me something to look forward to as this semester has been a pretty stressful one; very fun but very busy. I can't wait to start shopping for clothes; while I was considering applying to the program this past year, everytime I went shopping I was subconsiously finding clothes that would work perfectly for living an adventure in Italy but were irrelevant to my every day life here in the States. Now I can shop freely! Idon't plan on buying much as packing it all will be a burden; also I plan on buying alot of clothes once over in Italy so I will need space to bring everything back!

Family members have been supportive yet humorously skeptical. They consider me a free-spirit and playfully joke that I'm going to pretend like I'm living in a fantasy and will flounce everywhere and possibly get lost (this might happen but I like to remain optimistic and see it as an opputunity to experience a grand adventure!) <---It is talk like this that family might think that I'm going to walk around in a daze...yet I can't help but to daydream!

Another great thing is that Meg is also studying abroad in London, so we are planning on meeting up over a few long weekends and exploring European countries together. I cannot begin to express how excited I am!!

Eternally yours,
Stephanie

How exciting!!! If there was one thing I wish I had done differently, would've been to study abroad while I still had the chance!!! Have fun!!!
