Dior Glasses

Hello Lovelies,

I thought I would show you my new babies! One random fact about me is that I have terrible vision; I got my first pair of glasses when I was six years old and have been wearing contacts since I was eleven. I recently got a new pair of prescription Dior glasses and am in love with them. 

This is my second pair ofglasses from Dior and the reason I got them was becasue my first pair actually broke. The left temple on the frame was leaning inwards and the "r" in the Dior print on the right temple was faded.  As much as I loved my first frames, they were a really bad pair and I actually found out that they discontinued them. Because they were still under warranty and were discontinued, I got to pick out a different frame. I was really disappointed in my first pair because I was super excited to own a Dior product outside of makeup and have always associated Dior as a brand that carries the utmost quality due to it's name and reputation. I didn't get an opportunity to switch brands and probably would not have if given the chance because I probably had bad luck and picked out a defected pair in a sea of good quality ones. We shall see how these glasses hold up!

This is the first time I've owned a black pair of glasses since I usually go for less harsh colors that don't contrast with my pale complexion. This time however, I liked how they were a contrast to my skin tone and I loved the narrow frame. What I loved about the last couple of glasses that I had were that I was able to wear them out as sometimes I like to give my eyes a rest from wearing contacts. I've always had wire framed glasses and only wore them at home and never out. Once I made the switch to thicker framed glasses two years ago, I fell in love with how they looked on my face and began to wear them to classes and around friends.
