Cuddle Through The Cold

Being in university in upstate New York, it gets cold. Very cold. Yet as I am anxiously awaiting for spring to come, I can't help but revel in my winter garbs. One of my favorite things about winter is the outerwear: the sophisticated coats, the warm scarves and snuggly gloves. And you can't forget about the chic hats.
Here is what I wore today to beat the Binghamton chills:

I am wearing : Peacoat ( Macy's; Christmas gift), Scarf (Stolen from sister), Gloves (Fundraiser; 5$), Bag (Charlotte Russe; on sale for 12$, originally 25$) Jeans (Levi 30$) Sneakers (Nike on sale for 45$, orginally 90$)

I do like to switch up my outerwear pretty much based on the moods I'm in or to the outfit that I am wearing. With sweatpants, or if it's really cold outside and I want to stay extra warm, I would wear my heavy Northface coat. When I'm dressed more neatly and feel the need to polish off my outfit, I would put on my grey peacoat. I have a longer black coat for formal events such as holidays or events but that stays at home.

Cuddle to stay warm!

With my scarves, gloves, and hats, I keep them all tucked away in boxed containers on the bottom of my closet. It is an easy (and ultimately neat) way for me to see which garments are available and provides easy access to get to.

The first box holds my scarves and gloves, the middle holds my dance shoes, and the third contains my hats.

Have a lovely (and warm) day!

Sounds like you're really organised, I think it's great to be able to see your stuff and have easy access to them, or if it was me, I'd forget what I have. Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comment.

Bonjour Stephanie,
I wanted to come by and thank you for stopping to say hello and your kind comments. I love your floral boxes, I use boxes to organize my overflowing (out of control) closet too. Sounds like you have a system that works.
Have a great day and stay warm!

I love that bright purple scarf! It goes so lovely with the pea coat. Nothing cheers me up more than having a little bright happy color during a cold winter day. ;)

I tend to keep my closet pretty organized, except during exam time :P I just random tile up my clothes.

Winter sucks, I know that it feel like....I live in Toronto.
