They were supposed to come out as fluffy cupcakes. Instead, they came out a bit dry, like muffins. Hence the new term I coined: cupmuffins. I saw this recipe on Pinterest and decided to bake a batch on Monday evening after a day spent shopping for last minute wedding supplies (my cousin is getting married in less than a week!)
I got the recipe from
this blog and skipped out on the icing and cut the Oreos in half because I wouldn't have enough to garnish all 24 cupcakes. If I decide to make these cupmuffins again, I'll try adding the surprise Oreo cookie on the bottom (or in the middle if I'm feeling really mischievous.)
