Hot Chocolate, Checkered Flannel, And A Tree

On Monday evening, I went down to Manhattan to visit my good friend for a cup of hot chocolate in a coffee spot. We talked for a few hours about various happenings in our lives and then separated as she had a dance class to attend. Having traveled down to the city, I decided to take advantage of my time alone; I finished my Christmas shopping and gazed through the windows of department stores decked out in holiday decorations. I also managed to make a pit stop at Rockefeller Center where I shamelessly asked tourists to take pictures of me in front of the famous Christmas Tree. I still have plans to go down and see the tree again on Christmas Eve with my siblings, but it was nice to take in the sights by myself and absorb the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season. I'm so excited for the next couple of days! I hope everyone has been in much of the Christmas spirit as I have been!!

My outfit choice was once again simple and comfortable. I pulled this old shirt out of the back of my mom's closet which was the best choice as it kept me nice and warm under my pea coat. I added the scarf for a little bit of color and brought along my trusty Italian leather bag.
I am wearing: Shirt: (Unlabeled from Mom's); Jeans: (Levi's);
Boots: (DSW); Scarf: (Pashmina from Boscovs);
Bag: (Florence Leather Market);
Pea Coat: (Michael Kors)

Also, yesterday was the shortest day of the year, so it's longer days from here on out!
