Last summer I made a rather long book list but managed to get through only a couple before the summer came to an end. Being a bit of a perfectionist, even when it comes to reading, it irks me to have an incomplete list. I credit my failure due to the fact that I didn't have in my possession some of the books that I aimed to read. I had forgotten about the classic bound books that my mom used to decorate our living room because, as they were decoration, I wasn't allowed to touch them as a kid. Upon rediscovering them, I can now, without fail, read at least one classic hard covered novel a week and alternate them each week with modern paperback novels. Without further ado here is my shorter compiled list of books that I want to read before stifling August gives away to a crisp September.
- Pride and Prejudice
- Sense and Sensibility
- Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles
- Alice in Wonderland
- Through the Looking Glass
- Treasure Island
- Eat Pray Love
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
- (re-read) The Harry Potter series
- The Frugalista Files*
*The Frugalista Files are courtesy of the giveaway I won from the fabulous Erika over at Cafefashionista.blogspot.com. Thanks Erika!
Eternally yours,

It is indeed a good list. I have to say I read a lot less than I used to and it was a conscious decision. I used to be really proud that my only vice was reading. I then did a creative course and when I got half way through the chapter opened with the words that over reading was a a creative road block.I nearly fell over. I now spend less time reading and more time doing. Xxxx
Ah, your summer book list sounds phenom, Stephanie! The Curious Case of the Dog at Night is so incredible - I really think you'll enjoy it!
BTW...thanks for the shout-out, my love! I hope that you love The Frugalista Files as much as I did! :)
